The energy and movement of the figures imbue the Technogym Bench with femininity
Renin Bilginer
A multidisciplinary artist from London, with dual British and Turkish heritage, she completed her BA at the University of Brighton in 2019 and her master at The Royal College of Art in 2023. Her work has been exhibited in many galleries in London and internationally.
Drawing inspiration from the Amazon warriors of Ancient Anatolia, this artwork subverts the narrative that portrayed them as barbaric and unfeminine. While exercise-related strength is commonly linked to men, the energy and movement of these figures transform the Technogym Bench into something feminine. Vibrant patterns and colors move in flux and turn the object into a space that encourages female power.

The exclusive Technogym Bench collection, beyond its functional use, serves as an artistic expression and a symbol of social responsibility. After being showcased at Milan Design Week, the creations will be auctioned off in collaboration with Sotheby's and sold on technogym.com. All profits will be donated to UNICEF*.
