7 - Technogym Bench - Piero Lissoni
Ghost
Need help?
An unmanifested presence, veiled by its reflective nature
Piero Lissoni
Architect, art director, and designer, he is recognized as a master of contemporary design. For over thirty years, he has developed projects in architecture, landscape, and interior design, as well as in product and graphic design. He received numerous international awards, including the “ADI Compasso d’Oro”.
Since the choice of the name, Ghost, the Bench envisioned by Lissoni for Technogym reflects on the concept of a presence not manifested within a space. A purple-tinted mirrored glass has been applied on the back, while the surface has been entirely coated with a metallic effect paint to make the Bench a silent element capable of reflecting the surrounding environment while remaining concealed.

Design to Move
A special exhibition held at Technogym Milano during 2024 Design Week, Design to Move explores the unique and profound connection between design and wellness, style and functionality, emotional and tangible. The exclusive Technogym Bench collection, beyond its functional use, serves as an artistic expression and a symbol of social responsibility. After being showcased at Milan Design Week, the creations will be auctioned off in collaboration with Sotheby's and sold on technogym.com. All profits will be donated to UNICEF*.
