Egal Marcelo Zuniga Argandona
Born in 2001 in Cuzco, Peru, he moved to Italy at the age of five and has been exploring the world of art and drawing since childhood, also inspired by his father, a painter. He is currently completing his studies in Visual Arts at NABA in Milan.
A deep symbolism characterizes the artist’s version of the Technogym Bench, representing the pursuit of balance between body, mind, and soul. On one side of the Bench the “Chakana", a symbol bridging towards the sky, alludes to the possibility of reaching the cosmos through the spirit. On the other side, the anatomically depicted heart evokes the concept of energy as a source of life.
Design to Move
A special exhibition held at Technogym Milano during 2024 Design Week, Design to Move explores the unique and profound connection between design and wellness, style and functionality, emotional and tangible. The exclusive Technogym Bench collection, beyond its functional use, serves as an artistic expression and a symbol of social responsibility. After being showcased at Milan Design Week, the creations will be auctioned off in collaboration with Sotheby's and sold on technogym.com. All profits will be donated to UNICEF*.
