A reflection on movement and the idea of testing one's limits
Elisa Ceccoli
Born in Rimini in 1998, she graduated in Painting from NABA in Milan. Her research is focused on the graphic sign of drawing and the transparency of layers. The use of images and signs that are only seemingly fragile allows her to explore some aspects of our layered reality through an ironic lens.
The work originates from a reflection on movement and the idea of testing one's limits. The artwork consists of a series of drawings and a looped video animation. In the video, an abstracted figure is engaged in a jumping game, and the repetition of gestures suggests the possibility of improving one's abilities. The frames on the Technogym Bench evoke a sense of fragmented movement.
