Gustavo Martini
Born in Rio de Janeiro, he shares a deep bond with his city, where urban chaos and the vertical skyline clash with the surrounding nature. His creations delve into the contrasts between these realities. In 2016 he moved to Milan and was awarded “Next Generation Designer of The Year 2017” by Wallpaper*.
The intentional use of lines in architecture, urban planning, and design reflects the innate human desire to impose order, structure, and meaning onto the spaces we inhabit. In this project, the dynamic interplay of black and white lines emerges as a mesmerizing fusion of a flat pattern. Each stroke contributes to a visual rhythm occasionally interrupted by a glitch, harmonizing balance and movement.

Design to Move
A special exhibition held at Technogym Milano during 2024 Design Week, Design to Move explores the unique and profound connection between design and wellness, style and functionality, emotional and tangible. The exclusive Technogym Bench collection, beyond its functional use, serves as an artistic expression and a symbol of social responsibility. After being showcased at Milan Design Week, the creations will be auctioned off in collaboration with Sotheby's and sold on technogym.com. All profits will be donated to UNICEF*.
