A celebration of Brazilian culture, recalling its nature and identity
Mariana Prestes
Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, she is an artist, product designer, and versatile creative talent. Since childhood her passion for drawing and creative storytelling shaped her approach to all projects. Based in Milan, she is a member of the PRISMA PROJECT from Istituto Marangoni Design School.
BAH! is an exclamation used in southern Brazil to show surprise and admiration. That's where the name of this version of the Technogym Bench comes from, a celebration of the artist’s hometown, Porto Alegre. The main elements of the local culture - such as musical instruments and architectural icons - are interpreted in an unusual way, while the color palette recalls Brazilian nature and identity.
Design to Move
A special exhibition held at Technogym Milano during 2024 Design Week, Design to Move explores the unique and profound connection between design and wellness, style and functionality, emotional and tangible. The exclusive Technogym Bench collection, beyond its functional use, serves as an artistic expression and a symbol of social responsibility. After being showcased at Milan Design Week, the creations will be auctioned off in collaboration with Sotheby's and sold on technogym.com. All profits will be donated to UNICEF*.
