Nerio Alessandri
In 1983, he founded Technogym in his garage, merging his passion for innovation and premium design with his love for sports. In the '90s, he coined the concept of Wellness, promoting a lifestyle centered on physical exercise, a healthy diet, and a positive mental attitude. Later, to promote healthy habits that contribute to people's well-being and sustainable social development, he created the Wellness Foundation.
Nerio Alessandri's version of the Technogym Bench is a reflection on the past, present, and future of the company he founded 40 years ago. The fully chromed surface serves as a mirror, symbolizing self-reflection on everything that has been achieved, while also alluding to “vision” as the act of looking forward. The mirror provides a space for everyone to see themselves, conveying the concept of the company as a vital and ever-changing community.

Design to Move
A special exhibition held at Technogym Milano during 2024 Design Week, Design to Move explores the unique and profound connection between design and wellness, style and functionality, emotional and tangible. The exclusive Technogym Bench collection, beyond its functional use, serves as an artistic expression and a symbol of social responsibility. After being showcased at Milan Design Week, the creations will be auctioned off in collaboration with Sotheby's and sold on technogym.com. All profits will be donated to UNICEF*.
