A homage to the transformative effects of physical activity on both body and mind
Piotr Makowski
Born in 1985, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk and lives in Gdynia, Poland. His work focuses on pure and formal aspects of painting. Exploring various directions of abstraction that span from geometric forms to more fluid accents, he challenges the possibilities of abstraction today.
The project is inspired by the artist's dynamic painting Kompozycja T-15 (2014) which has been revisited to suit the three-dimensional structure of the Technogym Bench, preserving its original composition. The vivid shapes and vibrant colors capture the energy associated with movement, paying homage to the transformative effects of physical activity on both body and mind.
