Once you’ve unboxed your Technogym Connected Dumbbells, the next step is to connect them to the Technogym App and create your Technogym account so you can start using them in your workouts.

Connecting your dumbbells to your Technogym account

‍ There are two ways to connect your dumbbells to your Technogym App account.

Scan the QR code in the quick guide

‍ If you have your quick guide that was included in the packaging your dumbbells came in, scan the QR code located on the guide. The QR code will either automatically take you to Technogym app if you have the app on your phone or to your app store to download the app if you haven’t already done so. Tap “Configure Now” and follow the instructions on the screen.

Manually add your dumbbells‍

If you no longer have the quick guide, open the Technogym app, or download it if you haven’t already done so. Go to your profile and tap on the “Your Equipment” section.

Tap the “+” symbol, go on the Strength category and select the Technogym Connected Dumbbells. Then follow the instructions on the screen. ‍ Now place your phone near your dumbbells and ensure that you’ve twisted the handles of each dumbbell to 2kg. ‍‍ ‍ Remove the first dumbbell from the dock and shake it lightly until it appears on the app.

Repeat for the second dumbbell. If the app doesn’t detect your dumbbells at first, try shaking them again lightly. ‍ If the app prompts you to calibrate your dumbbells, continue to the next step.‍

‍ Calibrating Your Technogym Connected Dumbbells

‍ Once you’ve unboxed and connected your dumbbells to the Technogym app, the app could prompt you to calibrate them. If this is the case, make sure to leave your dumbbells in their docks for the entire process. You’ll calibrate one dumbbell at a time. You’ll be asked to twist the handle to all the weights in ascending order, starting with 2 kg. ‍ Ensure that you carefully twist the handle each time to the requested weight, or you could be asked to start the calibration process over again. Once you’ve calibrated both dumbbells, you’re ready to start using them in your workouts.
